(PRWEB) April 13, 2004 --This year's NewSong Contest is presented by Performing Songwriter Magazine. All song contest registrants for the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest will receive A FREE ONE-YEAR SUBCRIPTION
to Performing Songwriter Magazine.

The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest is also joining forces with Sonicbids, an innovative web-based technology for musicians to submit their Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to national song contests, music conference showcase selection submissions and venue for consideration. Welcome to the 21st century!

Enter the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest and receive free subscription to Performing Songwriter Magazine and discounted membership to Sonicbids. There are two ways to submit songs to The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest 2004: online and mail.

THE 'FIRST FIVE' ROUND: Be eligible to be one of the 'First Five' semifinalists selected in the Pre-Recorded Round by postmarking your contest submission(s) to us by May 1. On June 1, we will announce the 'First Five' Round semi-finalist winners. If you're not selected as one of the first five semifinalists, your contest entry returns to the contest pool to be considered for the 15 remaining Pre-Recorded Round semifinalist slots.

LAST DATE TO POSTMARK: All Pre-Recorded Round entries must be mailed by June 15, postmarked no later than that day or sent online by 5 p.m. June 15.

ONLINE SUBMISSION: Let Mp3 technology get your songs heard around the world! For $34.95 you can submit to The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest via Mp3, receive a subscription to Performing Songwriter Magazine free and a discounted six-month membership to Sonicbids which provides Electronic Press Kit (EPK) services for national song contest submissions, music conference showcases
submissions and EPK submission to venues. You can submit two song for $64.95 and three songs for $84.95 to The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.

ONLINE SUBMISSION for current Sonicbids member: You are able to submit one song to The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest via Mp3 for $30.00 and will also receive a free subscription to Performing Songwriter Magazine. Sonicbids members can submit two songs for $59.95 and three songs for $79.95 to The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.

MAIL SUBMISSION: You can submit a CD or tape to the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest via regular mail for $30 per song and you'll get a Performing Songwriter Magazine subscription free. There are no discounts for song contest multiple mail submissions.

Please note you are saving at least $60.00 towards your Performing Songwriter Magazine annual subscription and your Sonicbids annual membership.
