BioDreaming: Express Through Art What Biotechnology Means To You
Biotechnology Institute launches the first annual BioDreaming Poster Contest for all students in grades K-12.
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) April 13, 2004 --- The Biotechnology Institute, an independent, national nonprofit educational organization, launches the first annual BioDreaming Poster Contest for students in grades K-12. Partial funding for the competition is provided by Nektar Therapeutics, (NKTR) a pioneer and leader in advanced drug delivery technologies that enable highly differentiated products. The contest offers students the opportunity to showcase, and be recognized, for their artistic talents in expressing what biotechnology means to them. The winner will have their work published in Your World, a nationally distributed magazine. The top 12 winners will have their work displayed at the Institutes booth at the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) Convention, in San Francisco, June 6-9, 2004. Divisional winners work will be displayed on the Institutes website.

Winners will receive national and international recognition through Your World magazine, the BIO convention in San Francisco, and the Institutes website."
The BioDreaming Poster Contest is free to enter. Posters are grouped in four grade categories. All posters will be judged based upon; message clarity, adherence to theme, creativity, originality, artistic quality, and visual clarity.
To be eligible, BioDreaming Poster Contest entries must be received postmarked no later than April 30, 2004. Winners will be notified via email.
