Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 15, 2004 --- PDF Text Extraction Utility Available for Mac OS X. Mesa Dynamics today released Trapeze 1.0, its new PDF text extraction utility, offering conversion of PDF files to editable RTF, ASCII and plain text with adjustable layout reformatting.

Trapeze is a drag-and-drop application for automated conversion of PDF documents to editable formats. Designed for PDF data mining and repurposing, Trapeze provides reformatting options for white space stripping, paragraph rewrapping and page break marking. Additional features include RTF optimization for either TextEdit or Microsoft Word and support for password-protected PDFs.

Trapeze is available for download at http://www.mesadynamics.com and requires Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) or later. A limited unregistered trial version of Trapeze is available without charge. The full registered version of Trapeze is available for $29.95.
