Cineville Announces the North American Premiere of The Affair at Houston’s Worldfest

Cineville has officially announced that its highly-anticipated feature film, The Affair, will hold its North American Premiere as a part of the 37th Annual Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival. The screening will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 9:30PM. The film has also been nominated for 7 awards, including “Best Dramatic Feature” & “Best Director.”

The Affair was directed by Carl Colpaert and stars Kelsey Oldershaw (ER, What Women Want) as Jean, a woman who feels trapped within the modernist confines of her remote canyon home and stifling marriage to her uptight architect husband Paul (Horatio Ledon). Jean finds liberation and comfort in the arms of Viggo, (Andy Mackenzie) her free-wheeling and decidedly bohemian lover. This is the fifth feature directed by Carl Colpaert, which other titles include The Crew & Delusion.

Producer Edward Oleschak, Director Carl Colpaert and various cast members will be attending the event to speak about the film. Also attending are domestic & international press, fans of the stars and film itself.
