The Sexiest Show On Radio is Coming to TV!

A popular radio show is headed to the small screen in April.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) April 15, 2004 -- Ok, were no professional athletes nor are we wives of pro athletes or pro team executives with wealthy fathers who own teams. And we're not in our 'Living Room' either.

No, no, no... were just a group of women who happen to love sports. All sports, and weve been talking about it on the radio for over a year.

DAMN... Another Sportz Show?! hit the airwaves this same time one year ago, on a small local LA radio station. Michelle Blackwell (aka The X-Woman), the creator/producer/host of the DAMNASShow (the shows more popular title) launched the show on KLAS 89.7 fm. Blackwell brought together ten sports-loving women and the show took flight. It rapidly gained momentum and popularity on the trendy Web Radio circuit and many of its listeners loved the concept of an all female cast covering sports.

Now Blackwell is taking her tiny all female, all sports" show from the radio airways to the television screen. Blackwell gave the TV talk show a new title: Talk Sportz and has also given it a new roundtable discussion format. She wants to give the female Correspondents an opportunity to show off their true sports knowledge in a minute or less in a hot-seat" fashion. The same can be said for celebrity guests of the show.

At one point Blackwell considered unplugging the DAMNASShow saying, All were doing is talking sports. But with all the obstacles, weve actually considered canceling the show."

Thanks to the support of those who continued to listen to the show each week and attended promotional events, our crew is convinced that the show serves a purpose and we plan to stay in the game by bringing the new television series out. A pilot is being shot this month, for a national cable station.
