Before Clarino Ventures and SnV Partners, he held several senior management positions at Sonera Corporation, the leading wireless network operator in Finland.

Mr. Miettunen has held board memberships in companies like Ahlstrom Automation Ltd., (Electronics, Finland), EasyCall Ermes (Paging, Hungary), Pplus Communications Ltd. (GSM, Hong Kong), Aerial Communications, Inc. (GSM, USA), UAB Omnitel (GSM, Lithuania), CodeOnline Ltd. (mobile games, Finland) and others. He has been Chairman of the Board of Pannon GSM Telecommunications Ltd. (GSM, Hungary) and Intellitel Communications Ltd. (ITC software, Finland).
