Local Radio News Service Now Available to Commercial Radio Stations. National Network and Internet Radio Service planned.

The Newscast Network, a division of Kevin Coan Media, is actively producing local radio news for small, medium and large markets. Custom written and recorded feeds are currently heard in 4 U.S. states. An International service for internet radio is also offered, and a network service of national news will be rolled out in the 3rd quarter of 2004.

CLEVELAND, OH (PRWEB) April 16, 2004 -- Custom written and recorded newscasts for local radio markets are now available from The Newscast Network". Presently on the air in Texas, New Mexico, Utah and Idaho, the service gives small stations without news departments the ability to provide a base level of coverage to their local audiences. The news programming can be customized to match any format and is currently heard on AC, News Talk, Sports Talk, Classic Rock and Country formats.Network Director Kevin Coan says it gives stations depth, and adds to listener loyalty, which equals sales. The virtual" newscasts are uploaded to station FTP servers as mp3 sound files for broadcast, minutes before air. Monthly "anchoring packages" range from under 500 dollars per month in small markets and up based on market size.The company also plans to add a National News service during the 3rd quarter of this year. It will allow local stations to maintain their network inventory.
