As gas prices soar, resorts take the matter into their own hands. For instance, the Orlando-area Gaylord Palms Resort is offering $75 to cover higher gasoline prices.
KISSIMMEE, FL (PRWEB) April 19, 2004 -– Drive. Walk. Fly. Take a train. Ride a bike. No matter how they get there, guests of Gaylord Palms Resort this summer will receive a $75 credit to cover the higher cost of gasoline. The Orlando-area resort will provide the room credit to guests who stay at least three nights from June 15 through Sept. 6 and make a reservation using the promotion code FREEGAS.
“We’re doing what we can to make the higher cost of travel a little more affordable for our guests,” said John Caparella, general manager. “As the cost of gasoline continues to rise, we want our guests to spend their hard-earned vacation money on Orlando activities, rather than the trip here.”
The landmark resort is five minutes from Walt Disney World in the Kissimmee-St. Cloud resort area of Central Florida. Gaylord Palms features innovative restaurants, the 4-star Canyon Ranch SpaClub, and colorful Florida themes showcased throughout a soaring 4.5-acre glass-topped atrium and each of its 1,406 guest rooms.
Summer visitors can enjoy the resort’s “Best of Florida Festival,” a new family experience that celebrates favorite events of the Sunshine State. Guests can also see what’s new at Orlando’s world-famous theme parks, including “Mission: Space” at Epcot, “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” at Magic Kingdom, and “Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride” at Universal Orlando.
Room rates vary over the course of the promotion. Offer is valid for stays from June 15 through Sept. 6. Minimum 3-night stay required. Reservations must be made by July 15 and rooms are subject to availability. $75 will be credited to guests' total hotel bill at the end of stay. The offer is not valid for groups, with other offers or promotions, or on existing reservations.
