Anna Wilding protects Captain Anthony Wilding
(PRWEB) April 18, 2004 --Anna Wilding has stated that a play and book in New Zealand recently are not authorised by the Wilding family nor did the performers even have the decency to pick up the phone to ask for permission.Wilding said as well as an "invasion of privacy " ,"unfair trading" and other things that such actions undermine the "honour of Anthony Wilding, a hero,a man of dignity, who certainly would not have behaved in such a manner himself." She points out that "If a school child from across the world can find the family directly to ask for input and help on school projects, which the fmaily has been happy to provide, why couldn't a New Zealander living in NZ?". She says "it doesn't make sense, and it is a pity to see "charlatans" like this operating...and taking advantage of the goodwill of the Wildings".She said the play,(with an unknown cast trying to boost their names on the coat tail of someone well known like Anthony) has "mislead the public about it's association with the Wildings" in an attempt to try and make money and has that it has "also mislead third party organizations " She said that such actions of those involved with the play actually prove how poorly researched the play actually is". She said the Wildings have generous in the past and been happy to support endeavours of those people who have approached them ,without making a dime for themselves. But everything now needs to be readdressed and is being redressed. Captain Anthony Wilding was a war hero and multiple Wimbledon tennis champion in 1910 -1914.Gorgeous, Anna Wilding has carved her own career as an Actress and film maker in the international marketplace in her own right. Anna states that anyone interested Anthony Wilding should visit www.geocities.com/wildingtennis/ and that contacts details with regards to rights and permissions with regards to the use of Anthony Wildings name and likensess and the Wilding family can be obtained through that web site. She said there have been "soft" talks of a film for many years and this possiblity is still in talks.
