Completely renovated as office space, the Angebilt originally opened on March 14, 1923 as a 250-Room Renaissance Revival hotel. It was designed by Floridas first registered architect, Murray S. King, who also designed the Orlando Albertson Public Library and the 1927 Orange County Courthouse.
