Clarksville, TN (PRWEB) April 20, 2004 --To all media and citizens alike, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Wanda J. McMoore has met the necessary requirements and qualifications and is here for a bonafide candidate for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board -- District 4 seat.
McMoore is a 15-year army veteran and Medical Support Assistant at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, KY.
She has been politically active at the state and local levels as an advocate of civil/Human rights and currently serves as a member of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Systems Minority & Key Communicators Groups. She has appeared in numerous published news articles as well as T.V. and radio talk shows and has received public acknowledgement for her work as a volunteer in the Community. Wanda McMoore is married to Clarksville resident Terry McMoore and is the mother of three daughters.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board consists of 7 elected members divided over 7 districts and serves as the governing body of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The election will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2004, early voting July 16-31, 2004.
If elected I intend to be an integral part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board decision making process. As a mother with children still in the school system I hope to bring a different and "out of the box" approach to things as I interact with the other board members...."
