Sunrise, FL (PRWEB) April 21, 2004 --- BioSurgical Innovations, Inc., a sales and distribution company specializing in biomaterial technologies for surgical applications, announced today the formation of a Management Advisory Board to help identify opportunities within the market and plan for the expected growth of the company. The advisory board, which is made up of a group of business leaders and physicians, will meet periodically with the companys management team to exchange ideas and provide suggestions on a number of operational and strategic issues.
We wanted to put together a group of highly experienced people with diverse backgrounds that could not only provide advice on day to day business issues, but also offer guidance on the strategic opportunities that we should be pursuing in order to meet our goals," said Vincent S. Fall, Executive Director with BioSurgical Innovations. Biomaterial and biosurgical technologies are developing so rapidly that it is sometimes difficult to identify which technologies offer the best prospects for long-term growth. That is one of the reasons we have been so selective in choosing the manufacturers that we are aligning with. The panel that has been formed has the knowledge and experience to give us expert perspectives on both the clinical and business opportunities with these products."
Members of BioSurgical Innovations Advisory Board include Geoff Dillon, President and CEO of Corazon, Inc., a cardiovascular company pioneering technology to repair instead of replace calcified aortic valves; Victor Valdes, M.D., a critical care physician and Executive Director of Diagnostic Technology Systems, Inc., an ultrasound and telemedicine sales and distribution company; Robert Herrero, Jr., Executive Director of Robert Herrero, Jr. and Associates, a global accounting firm specializing in fiduciary and trust accounting; Sergio Roll, M.D., a leading laparoscopic surgeon in Latin America residing and practicing in Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Andres Casademont, M.H.A., President and CEO of Global Health Management, Inc., a hospital administration and equipment planning company.
We are fortunate to have individuals on our Advisory Board who are considered experts in their respective fields," said Fall. Each of them individually offers incredible insight into the market and provides valuable guidance on what we are trying to accomplish. As a group, they add a whole new dimension to what we are doing. They genuinely want BioSurgical Innovations to succeed and are being extremely generous with their time, knowledge and ideas."
