MAYO Communications Launches Hot New Tranportation Beat News Tip Sheet To Announce Transportation and Rail Projects

Full Service Public Relations Firm MAYO Communications unveils Transportation Beat News Tip Sheet to announce rail and transportation project progress.

(PRWEB) April 21, 2004 -- LOS ANGELES, CA- MAYO Communications announced today (Wednesday) it is launching a tip sheet -- The Transportation Beat News Tip Sheet" (www.enewsbuilder.net/transportbeat), for the Orange North-American Trade Rail Access Corridor (OnTrac) Joint Powers Authority and its partners. The nonprofit agency has hired MAYO Communications for media relations.

As a former working member of the press, I believe that by offering a one page menu of interesting transportation news tips to the media it will help make their jobs easier and our business partners more accessible," said George Mc Quade, vice president, MAYO Communications, who will edit, produce and publish it monthly or as often as needed. This communication will also help inform the public and people supporting transportation projects to better understand what theyre paying for."

The Transportation Beat News Tip Sheet is specifically designed to be a resource to the media for editorial ideas and transportation business story leads. It will be sent to newsroom assignment managers, producers, editors, writers and reporters in print, TV and radio news. The publication will also be sent to OnTracs partners to help stimulate and communicate common project story ideas.

We often hear complaints from the news media about short notices of developments, events or very little time to absorb studies or complex issues and information," explained Mc Quade. The Transportation Beat News Tip Sheet will speed up the flow of breaking news and information so editors can meet their deadline."

The first issue profiles highway transportation projects for Southern California, the 10-year anniversary of METROLINK and funding for MTAs new Gold Line.

Southern California has become the nation's primary gateway for two-way international trade," said Executive Director Christopher Becker of Orange North-American Trade Rail Access Corridor (OnTrac) Joint Powers Authority. We need to constantly inform our taxpayers and the media of our progress on projects they report on and depend upon."

The newsletter will also alert the media on upcoming study results such as The International Trade Trends Impact," a report set to be released on May 4, 2004 by Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC). The newsletter will be by subscription, free of charge, and sent in text, HTML and AOL formats.
