Lehman, Lee and Xu doing China Super 8 franchise deal

Budget Hotel chain agrees to set up a franchise in China with Tian Rui Hotel Corp. Lehman, Lee and Xu Law Firm is arranging the franchise agreement.

(PRWEB) April 25, 2004 --Super 8, which has its name on over 2,082 motels in Canada and America, has entered into an agreement with Tian Rui Hotel Corp to franchise the brand in China. The Super 8 franchise operates hotels in the 2 to 3 star range and is aiming to provide middle and upper income Chinese travelers with clean and affordable accommodation.

Edward Lehman of Lehman, Lee and Xu, the law firm that putting the franchise agreement together, said that the Chinese budget hotel market is underdeveloped and that Tian Rui is in a good position to take advantage of the relative lack of recognizable brand names in this area. The first hotel is planned to open in Beijing next month and steps are in motion to establish one in Xian.
