Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. (Dallas Contracting) was contracted by International Management Consultants, Inc. (IMC) to provide interior demolition services to make preparations for a new LA Fitness Sports Club in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dallas Contracting Co., Inc. (Dallas Contracting) was contracted by International Management Consultants, Inc. (IMC) to provide interior demolition services to make preparations for a new LA Fitness Sports Club in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The scope of work included interior demolition, gut out, strip out, dismantling and removal of 1,000 sf masonry and steel rooftop HVAC penthouse, and re-utilizing crushed concrete as backfill for new pool foundation.

Dallas Contracting removed the concrete deck and structural steel at upper level, removed concrete slab at lower level including opening for new footings, removed drywall partitions, removed canopy at new entrance including column wraps and CMU wall and removed entire sprinkler system. A 1,000 sf masonry and steel rooftop HVAC penthouse was also dismantled and removed. Dallas Contracting also installed recycled concrete within the new pool foundation walls which was accomplished utilizing buggies to spread the material in 6-inch lifts and compacted with a vibratory plate compactor. Work was completed in approximately 6 weeks without incident or injury.
