Black Business Circle is urging African Americans to endorse an aggressive plan of business development, along with developing a plan to support existing business owned by African Americans. In New York State Black male represent Nearly 50% of unemployment rate, and black women represent close to 42% and when you add these numbers together the question remains is this by design or by choice. Mark Levitan, Sr. Policy analyst for community service society has cited is the local job market remains weak and unemployment remains high throughout NYC in the Black community.

New business development and business growth by existing business will create greater employment opportunities for African Americans. Black Business Circle has created a new model of sustainable economic development. Economic Empowerment is the Final Frontier to Freedom for African Americans and Black Business Circle has adopted strategies to reach the Final Frontier to Freedom.    Black Business Circle will be addressing the high rate of unemployment through empowerment Workshops, Panel Discussion, and Power Networking.
