Yet the small indie film continues to build a rather large following due to its innovative concept that captured every day Americans at their most unsuspecting. The movie documents the journey by four filmmakers who set out to discover if happiness still existed in America and what exactly it is that makes us happy.

Now the little film that could announces that it is expanding on the idea and concept of the original film with several international editions. Already slated for production is a Caribbean edition, which is currently in pre-production and set to start filming later this summer in Jamaica, the Bahamas, and potentially Cuba. Funds for this production were secured through corporate sponsorship and private financing" states Aaron Mighty, the creator and producer of the original One Happy Movie.

Along with the scheduled Caribbean edition, four other versions are planned including a Canadian edition, an Australian Down Under" edition, a UK edition, and a South Africa edition. Currently, Mighty is entertaining offers from production companies and studios across the global to undertake these editions in a cooperative effort with the filmmakers own promising production company, Creative Entity, Inc.

The release of this news comes as One Happy Movie launches its greatest journey yet. Getting the small little film that could into theaters to a nationwide audience this September 11th. The day that happiness will return to America!

So much for little movies that go nowhere. It looks like happiness is going everywhere.
