About the Carbon Project
The mission of Carbon Tools is to make OGC standards-based services accessible to Windows developers. Carbon Tools save developers the long and costly process of learning, adapting and developing OGC compliant services by encapsulating data access, data parsing, and data processing functions into Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) and .NET libraries with an easy to use API. The controls built on the Microsoft .NET Framework within Carbon Tools enable developers and analysts to rapidly build applications using Âdrag and drop type programmable components.
