Cosmic Trips On Synthetic Sound Waves
In a time where no one seems to invent new sound, computer artist Vincent Stahl releases his first album, "art nouveau" - a CD full of colorful synth music, ranging from intense dance beats to meditative ambient. His style is influenced by Depeche Mode and Pink Floyd; an instant preview is available online.
Mystic, Ct / Stuttgart, Germany (PRWEB) April 27, 2004 --For half a decade now, the music business has fallen into an uncreative ice age. Casting shows present endless repetitions of old songs, and pop charts are reduced to personality shows, with lots of temporary lala text - but the only thing that's not there, is new, inventive sound. Vincent Stahl, deeply influenced by Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, and all the synthesizer revolutionaries of the 1980's, stands up against this trend. His new CD, "art nouveau", is full of unique tracks - islands of rich synthesized ideas, atmospheres, fast and slower rhythms - just ideal for a long, relaxed background listen. All tracks are available as instant online previews here:

The style is a wide mixture of synth, chorus and string arrangements, sometimes with a classical touch, and sometimes more techno-like. A huge array of sound effects, often metallic, as well as memorable, chilling melodies frame Stahl's dreamy subjects, often about far spaces and the universe. Art nouveau is the result of three years of work, and so far, Vincent Stahl already received many positive reviews (see References under http://besonic.com/vincentstahl ).
The album can be ordered at AMPCAST.COM, Inc., a company located in Mystic, Connecticut, USA. The price is $11.99 for a CD, comprising also unique computer art inlays.
