Optimum Design Associates Inc., a supplier of PCB (printed circuit board) CAD libraries, library administration and layout services has released a DxDataBook linked library for Mentor Graphics CorpÂs DxDesigner and PADS® PowerPCB® tools. Mentor Graphics Corp., is a provider of PCB design software tools.
The library contains linked DxDataBook entries in the DxDesigner and PADS PowerPCB formats. Decals are based on SMTPlus standards that help to maximize routing area on PCBs. Over 15,000 part numbers are included in the library.
A free PADS decal library can be downloaded at http://www.optimumdesign.com/demo.htm .
The full library contains the PowerPCB decal files plus the DxDesigner symbols and DxDataBook entries.
This is Optimum Design Associates third library released for use with Mentor Graphics EDA tools. Also available from Optimum Design Associates are libraries for the DxDesigner/Expedition and Design CaptureÂ/Expedition flows.
