Rab Records Announces Release of Family-Music CD "Buckaroos Sleep Too!"

CD release party at Davis-Kidd Bookstore featuring Patience Moore and songs from "Buckaroos Sleep Too!" to benefit Saddle Up of Nashville

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) April 30, 2004 -- Rab Records announces the release of its first family CD: "Buckaroos Sleep Too!" Patience Moore (aka The Cowboy Girl) is scheduled to perform at a free family concert and CD release party at Davis-Kidd bookstore in Green Hills, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2004. Joining the Cowboy Girl is Buckaroos co-producer and renown multi-instrumentalist Van Manakas, performing tunes from "Buckaroos Sleep Too!"

Singer, songwriter and sometimes yodeler, Patience Moore is an artist who embraces country musics classic past while keeping one cowgirl-booted foot in the present. She has played festivals with Johnny Cash, Riders in the Sky, and was the featured yodeler at the annual Patsy Montana Birthday Celebration at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame four years in a row. Upon moving to Nashville in 1998, Moore quickly became a fixture at Billy Block's Western Beat.

Scheduled for national release on May 18, 2004, "Buckaroos Sleep Too!" features two duets with Grammy award-winning Riders in the Skys Ranger Doug. The 2-CD collection of music for families has G-rated lyrics and is country in nature, from western swing and boogies to acoustic ballads and lullabies. Sophisticated arrangements using A-list Nashville musicians highlight Patience Moore's velvety voice. The original tunes on Buckaroos Sleep Too! were inspired by Ms. Moore's love of cowboy life, which began with childhood-summers spent under Rocky Mountain skies.

A portion of funds from sales of "Buckaroos Sleep Too!" at Davis-Kidd during the May 22nd CD release party will be donated to Saddle Up of Nashville, a therapeutic recreational horseback riding program designed for children with mental and physical disabilities. (http://www.saddleupnashville.org).
