Wanda Powell Heagy offers a collection of personal poems she believes to be inspired by God.

Many of the poems are humorous and lighthearted and describe small joys in life ranging from watching hummingbirds to shopping to playing with a puppy. In more moving poems, Heagy writes about love, spirituality, sickness and the loss of a loved one. Her religious poems are meant to convey her belief in Jesus without imposing her faith on readers.

The author, Wanda Powell Heagy, hopes to offer a sense of peace, tranquility and trust to all that read her work. In 'My Heartfelt Inspirations', her adoration of the written word, her friendly demeanor and her faith shines through as she tells stories of her own life experiences.

Heagy was raised in Tupelo, Miss. Her husband of 37 years was a serviceman in the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. Heagy also served in the U.S. Army Reserves, Corp of Engineers. They have one son who is serving in the Mississippi Army National Guard.
