Record your bands first CD with just your computer and a software based multitrack studio!

(PRWEB) May 1, 2004 --Acoustica, Inc. has released Mixcraft, a Windows program that lets you record your voice, your guitarist, the keyboard guy and, perhaps even a drummer. Just a few years ago, youd need a professional studio, a trained recording engineer, and record contract just to get a record made. Mixcraft allows aspiring musicians to record and produce high quality music using their home computer and a microphone. Mixcraft lets you record multiple tracks of music, edit with cut and paste, and add effects such as Reverb and EQ. Musicians can then complete the task by burning their own music CD.

Mixcrafts state-of-the-art 32 bit sound engine supports recordings at CD quality and above. Each track has its own pan, volume and effects, including Reverb, Delay/Echo, EQ, Compression, Flanger and Chorus. The maximum number of tracks is only limited by the processing power of the computer.

The software will also appeal to the budding DJ. Mixcraft has extensive looping tools and can use loops from existing loop libraries. DJs can shape sonic textures with powerful resonant filters.

Mixcraft requires Win95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP and at least a 700 Mhz Pentium-III with 128 MB or RAM
