Founded in April of 2003, www.SportzTawk.com began as a simple discussion board community devoted to sports all over the globe. Over time, membership grew, and the community demanded additional services. One of the innovative new concepts has been the development of a news portal, driven by actual discussion board threads and posts. Ben Irvine, founder of www.SportzTawk.com, said, "It just seemed to make sense, everyone was talking about news in the discussion forums, so it was natural to turn that energy toward a dedicated news website."

"The test was successful," says Ben, "During the past three months, we had over 600 sports articles created by members, and over 2,000 follow-up comments."
