Adebija Wins Cadbury Excellence Award
Gbenga Adebija has won the highest and most prestigious award in Cadbury Nigeria, the Award for Excellence, having made the greatest contributions to the success of the company.
(PRWEB) May 2, 2004 --Gbenga Adebija has won the highest and most prestigious award in Cadbury Nigeria, the Award for Excellence. Adebija was honoured for being the best consistently high quality performer in Cadbury, who made the greatest contributions to the success of the company during the year.
Adebija, 36, is an MSc (Hons) degree graduate of Microbiology from the University of Ilorin. He also acquired post graduate diplomas in Public Relations from both the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and the University of London.
He is widely acknowledged within and outside the company for his leadership and intellectual capabilities and is seen as the quintessential Cadbury Manager of the twenty first century.
He is Vice-Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association of Madonna Nursery and Primary school, Ojodu, Chairman, Board of Lectors and Vice-Chairman of the Church Council of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Omole Phase One.
He is on the advisory board of the Lagos Chapter of the NIPR as well as the Nigerian chapter of Volunteer Services Organisation, the worlds largest volunteer organisation.
Adebija holds membership of a broad range of social and professional associations including the Public Relations Society of America, Nigerian Institute of Food Science, Ikoyi Club, 1938 and the Lagos Business School Alumni Association.
Gbenga is married to Yetunde and they have two children, Gbenga and Tobi.
