CTi Ranked 15th in Leading 100 Business Travel Agents UK

Corporate Travel International Ltd (CTi) jump 10 places in the UK's top Business Travel Agent survey.

(PRWEB) May 2, 2004 --The North of England's leading independent business travel specialists, Hull-based CTi Limited (Corporate Travel International), has increased their chart position in the widely anticipated survey magazine Business Travel World's Leading 100 Business Travel Agents - to position fifteen. This is a huge increase of ten places from last year's survey.

An annual UK turnover of over 61million reflects the professionalism and hard work put in by of each member of the CTi family. This has disproved the predictions of the media that travel agents would see a rapid decline in business after September 11th and the war in Iraq.

Business Travel World, comments:

"Everyone reported last year that yields were down. Bookings have been down. Suppliers' revenues in the UK have not had massive increases and most agents operate in a world of fees rather commissions. Commissions are down. Revenues should be down.

"However, remarkably, 37 agents reported an increase in turnover. These companies have clearly embraced the changes in the industry positively and structured their organisation for the changed market."

Embracing change positively is exactly what CTi have done. Established in 1995, CTi has gone from strength to strength, establishing bases in Merseyside as well as York, Bradford, Leeds and Manchester, which are manned by a staff of over 100. Recent developments include the merger with major airline consolidator Cyberes and also an association with entertainment giant, the Disney Corporation, which has awarded a direct contract to supply theme park tickets via CTi's website.

These developments have been reflected in the survey with this impressive leap of ten places. On analysis of the data provided by Business Travel World, CTi has gained eighteen places since the year 2000.

CTi Managing Director Ian White said:

"We are delighted with the outcome of this year's survey results - to move up ten places in one year is fantastic and certainly reflects the hard work put in by all of our staff.

"Our recent merger with Cyberes also means we are able of offer a wider range of services while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. To become associated with a company that has such a fresh and innovative approach cannot fail to have improved our position in the survey."
