Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) May 2, 2004 --As announced in the Publishers Marketplace New Deals Newsletter, the first book from the founders of the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls, Morgan and Brooksie, tentatively titled THE RECOVERING SORORITY GIRL'S GUIDE TO A YEAR'S WORTH OF PERFECT PARTIES, has been placed with Andrews McMeel. The book will include tips for throwing memorable parties, from a Le Beaujolais Est Arrive soiree in November to a Japanese Cherry Blossom bash in April. We are thrilled that our literary agent, Linda Konner, found our project a home at Andrews McMeel" said Brooksie. We are so grateful for all of Lindas hard work."

We have really enjoyed many books from Andrews McMeel, especially their cookbooks, comedy and arts offerings. We know that we are very lucky to be with a company so experienced in the subject matters included in our book" enthused Morgan.

While completing their book, Morgan and Brooksie intend to continue writing and distributing their monthly home entertaining column and also will continue to provide first-rate lifestyle and home entertaining advice content on their website, www.recoveringsororitygirls.com. In addition, they will also continue to pursue their philanthropic projects and entertain freelance offers.

We are both very excited about this important step in the distribution of our unique home entertaining philosophy" said Morgan.

We feel that our book will allow us to reach recovering sorority girls everywhere, especially women and girls who may not know that they are recovering sorority girls, and help them become the domestic divas that they were meant to be" concluded Brooksie.
