Internationally Known Economist and Speaker, Tapan Munroe, provides Mid-Year Review of the Economy

Internationally known economist and speaker, Tapan Munroe, will provide a mid-year review of the economy and business challenges for San Francisco and the Bay area at the East Bay Network's June 16, 2004, meeting at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, California.

(PRWEB) May 3, 2004 --Business executives have been invited to join the members of the East Bay Network (an affiliate of IMC USA) on June 16, 2004, to hear Tapan Munroe, Ph.D. present a keynote address: 2004: The Economic Outlook and Related Business Challenges.

This internationally known economist and speaker is a frequent commentator on regional and national TV shows such as the Dow Jones Investors' Network and the Bloomberg News Service.

In addition to running his own company, Dr. Munroe holds the Kiriyama Distinguished Professorship for Asia Pacific Studies at the University of San Francisco, serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of California at Merced, and is currently the Chief Economist for the Capital Corporation of the West.

The program is part of an on-going business seminar series hosted by EBN and designed to help members develop a greater awareness of the business issues facing their own companies and those of their clients.
