BNSF Logistics Makes Strategic Acquisition
BNSF Logistics has acquired 100% of the assets of Rite Choice Transport, an Oklahoma based 3PL. The company specializes in perishables and refrigerated transportation.
SPRINGDALE, AK (PRWEB) May 4, 2004 --- BNSF Logistics, LLC, today acquired Rite Choice Transport, a Roland, Oklahoma third-party logistics (3PL) company that specializes in serving the perishables and refrigerated market. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Rite Choice will be operated as a unit within BNSF Logistics Transportation Execution Services (TES) business, which serves customers from coast-to-coast.
Penny Wright, one of the former owners of Rite Choice, joins BNSF Logistics as Manager of Operations, reporting to Mica Jordon, Director of TES, South. Eric Wolfe, Vice President and General Manager, BNSF Logistics, said, The acquisition of Rite-Choice further demonstrates our commitment to align BNSF Logistics with what our customers are demanding.
