The LetÂ?s Talk Business Network is now known as SoundBoard. The new corporate brand coincides with the appointment of a new CEO and the transition to a new Headquarters.

The Let’s Talk Business Network, a privately held firm providing CEO Advisory Boards for business owners and chief executives of small-to-mid size businesses, has changed its name to SoundBoard.

The move toward a singular name change better reflects the Company’s focus on the Advisory Boards that SoundBoard facilitates for its entrepreneurial clients, while expressing it’s philosophy on the one-on-one support that it utilizes to mentor clients in the development of their businesses.

“We feel the name delivers improved clarity to our clients and constituents,” said John Federico, Managing Director. “We wanted our brand to better reflect the value we provide to our clients, refer to the process we utilize to deliver this value, all while being inviting, experiential and human. We think we’ve accomplished that.” A recent principal of SoundBoard, Federico is responsible for SoundBoard’s new brand and marketing efforts, in addition to servicing the firm’s clients. Like the rest of the SoundBoard team, Federico works with clients throughout the NYC Metro Area to help them identify key areas of improvement in themselves as leaders and in their businesses to facilitate growth.

SoundBoard’s new brand brings with it a new CEO. Richard Magid, the exclusive licensee for the Company’s proprietary process in New Jersey, has been appointed SoundBoard’s CEO and Managing Partner and will lead both entities as a single, unified corporation operating from the Company’s new corporate headquarters in Boonton, NJ. “I’ve never been more excited about our goals for the Company and for the mission that drives us in supporting our members,” said Magid. “Contributing to their success is our first priority.”

“I am proud to announce that Richard Magid, a leader who is committed to the mission and vision we put forth almost ten years ago, is now our Chief Executive,” said Mitch Schlimer, company co-founder and now SoundBoard Chairman and Partner. “As Chairman, I trust Richard’s instincts, abilities and uncompromising integrity to lead our Company into the future.”

Schlimer is also the host of the Company’s radio show, “Let’s Talk Business.” Running for more than 8+ years in national syndication, the show is dedicated to being the voice of entrepreneurship, interviewing noted business authors, journalists, managers and thought leaders. While the show has been on hiatus for the last eighteen months, Schlimer hosts monthly interviews with his guests, both live and in the studio, for distribution on CD. The show will go back “on the air” on the Internet in 2004 and on the airwaves in 2005.
