National Older Americans Month, May 2004 - Learn More About Seniors and Making Them Part of Your Marketing Plan - Celebrate NOA Month by Displaying Free Posters, Graphics, and More

National Older American's Month (formerly National Seniors Month) is a time to reflect on the accomplishments of seniors and look at how the effect they have on business and our economy. SeniorMag.com focuses on helping business connect with senior markets and baby-boomers that are caregivers and looking for information on aging.

(PRWEB) May 5, 2004 - Charlotte, NC -- Business owners should know what influence seniors and baby-boomers have on our nation, and what this demographic means and will mean to business, our society, and the economy in the near future.

By Presidential declaration, May 2004 is designated as National Older Americans Month. The purpose of the designation is to honor, acknowledge and focus on the contributions and needs of American seniors.

Besides acknowledging the contribution of our elders, it is also a time to consider what changes the future will demand on our seniors, and how we manage the ever-increasing senior population as baby-boomers begin to cross that age threshold.

It is also an opportunity for business to start to understand their senior customers, what drives this market, and how to effectively make their business senior-friendly.

SeniorMag.com (http://www.SeniorMag.com) has an entire section that will be devoted during the month of May to National Older Americans Month. The emphasis of this particular section is on helping business understand senior needs and issues, where they need to be, how to become involved, and how to let their senior customers know that they are appreciated. Individuals, businesses, and media are invited to review content regarding this subject that includes statistical information on seniors, the senior market, and the growth of that market. Marketers, those who wish to target this market, and those that actively need to plan for the needs of seniors should review this updated information annually.

The new section on National Older Americans Month on SeniorMag.com includes a great deal of statistical information, but also lots of other business collateral material that can be used on the web or in print. Download and pass out fliers, posters, grab the National Older Americans Month logo for this year and include it in your newsletters, advertising, or wherever else you want.

National Older Americans Month is a prime opportunity presented each month for businesses to learn about and learn to talk to their senior customers. And SeniorMag.com is a great place to start.
