Birthing of Giants is a renowned executive education program sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. Magazine and the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO). The program, held on the campus of MIT and beginning its 8th year, has paved the way for over 400 graduates including entrepreneurial giants like Ted Leonisis (AOL) and Michael Dell. Focusing on leadership, it is designed to make the best of the best even better and maybe produce the next Bill Gates.

“We have experienced tremendous growth during our short 5-year history and I look forward to learning from not only my peers but from some of the world’s top business minds,” said Parker. “Being selected to attend Birthing of Giants is a huge privilege for me and Digi-Net because both will certainly benefit from such an experience.”

The group is inclusive of only the most successful and growth-minded entrepreneurs. Acceptance is highly competitive and this year’s class (2006) garnered more than 300 applicants. Each is under the age of 40 and leads a company that grosses more than $1 million annually.

Instructors include entrepreneurial leaders and well-regarded professors from Babson, Harvard and MIT. This year’s faculty includes, George Naddaff (Boston Chicken Founder), John van Maanen and Bill Isaacs (MIT Sloan School), Pat Lencioni (Five Dysfunctions of a Team), and Verne Harnish (YEO Founder and Gazelles CEO).
