Online Marketplace Bidchaser Announces the Grand Opening of its Online Stores

Bidchaser.com, an emerging provider of online auctions and stores and its upcoming automotive exchange announced today the official release of its online stores. The Bidchaser Stores have been deployed successfully in a controlled environment as part of Bidchaser's entry into India (see "Online Marketplace Bidchaser.com Signs Marketing Agreement with India's K Dimension", http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/5/prweb123529.php).

(PRWEB) May 7, 2004 -- For a limited time Bidchaser.com will offer its members a subscription to the Bidchaser Stores at a special discounted rate. Those who take advantage of the offer will have unlimited use and access to their Bidchaser Stores through December 31, 2004. After the grand opening promotion, new Bidchaser merchants will only incur a reasonable fee of $7.95 per month, and an additional 5% commission on goods sold through the Stores.

Bidchaser Stores provide its store owners powerful tools to handle their reporting needs, control their inventory and manage both contact and post sale activities. "There is only one way to understand the ease and depth of our product", said Saurabh Mehta, Bidchaser Store's Product Manager, "and that is to try it out and experience it first hand."

The Bidchaser Stores management tools also provide customizable templates for e-mail communications. A Bidchaser Merchant can incorporate his or her own store policies and offerings, giving the store owner great flexibility in how they establish and brand their online presence.

As an additional feature, a Bidchaser Merchant who sells only in the auction format can still benefit from ownership of a Store. Bidchaser's Team understands the importance of providing the independent look and feel that comes from owning one's online brand and presence. "If the Bidchaser Store's software detects that there are no items for sale at fixed price in the store, but the member has auctions listed on Bidchaser," explains Mr. Mehta, "it will automatically present a view of the store that displays the merchant's available auctions."

Since the original testing of the stores, Bidchaser's engineering staff has already added a bulk loader to assist sellers with the loading of their inventory, and additional improvements and enhancements are planned for the second quarter of 2004.
