Electronic Sign In Boards

Pleased to provide you with a patent pending invention idea which is helpful in maintaining patient privacy in medical, dental, chiropractor and related offices.

(PRWEB) May 7, 2004 -- After the implementation of HIPAA, privacy of the personal information became one of the top priorities in most offices specially health related. This idea of Electronic sign-in board has been conceived by a practicing dentist in Orlando. This is a small device approximatly of a calculator size. One could easily see all the personal information like phone number, social security number etc.on the sign-in sheet on a visit to medical, dental, chiropractor or any related office. This device has been designed to prevent exposure of this personal information.

When signing-in in a hospital or medical facility, the patient is required to fill out a personal information like phone number, name ss#, address etc. on the sign-in sheet. This information is open and accessible to subsequent patients who are signing after.

This device is meant to prevent leakage of this personal information from the office thereby helping to comply with HIPAA. This has tremendous potential for distribution due to the fact that there are thousands of offices where it will find its application. It uses easily available existing technology and will be very affordable. Patients will feel more secure while giving private information. It will reduce the paperwork and need to shred those papers with private information.
