SalesAhoy adds email notification to CRM
Steve Parsons of SalesAhoy announced today an enhancement to its web-based, sales-focused CRM offering that allows users to receive automatic e-mail notification when key information is updated.

AhoyAlerts, the new e-mail notification feature, alerts team members when information is added or changed within the application. Team members automatically receive a message notifying them of the change.This can include new opportunities, leads that have been assigned, or activities & tasks that need action - team members will receive a message with a link to the detail of the record.
Users can also set up alerts to be notified if someone else updates or touches their key accounts. "This is immediate contact. You are not searching for the information or waiting for the weekly report to find out," Parsons says. "Instead you have the information that you care most about delivered to you immediately."
