Freelance writer and New Hampshire resident, Marcia Passos Duffy, has launched a monthly online magazine, The Heart of New England.com, a free publication that celebrates the unique people, places and products of the northern New England states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Visitors to the website can get a free subscription to a companion weekly e-newsletter that includes a calendar of events, bed and breakfast specials, contests, and gardening tips.
Duffy, who has lived in Keene, NH for the past 10 years with her husband and two children, has been a freelance and commercial writer for 20 years. Her goal is to promote the region that she and her husband selected after an exhaustive search for a good place to raise their family.
