New York, NY (PRWEB) May 7, 2004 --Divine Capital Markets LLC, a leading women-owned securities brokerage and investment bank serving institutional managers and high net worth individuals, announced today the launch of a new, independent research product that will provide both macroeconomic and company specific coverage for Brazil, Russia, India and China, the top four emerging market economies.
Divine Capital's latest research product, positioned as a series of more than 40 publications covering the four "BRIC" sector countries, was inaugurated today with the release of a detailed, 15-page analysis of the current Russian economy and related investment opportunities. The series will include a global perspective of each of the four countries and specific recommendations within each region.
According to Danielle Hughes, CEO of Divine Capital, "The BRIC sector is perhaps the most important intersection of the global economy. The four countries that we will cover represent a significant, if not the greatest opportunity in terms of growth and asset value appreciation."
The series of reports will be overseen by Sylvester Walczak, Divine Capital's senior emerging markets analyst, a recognized expert in Eastern European and Asian markets. He is the former New York Bureau Chief Correspondent for the Polish Financial Daily, Rzeczpospolita, and most recently, the Financial Markets Analyst for the Polish Financial Magazine Finansista.
In connection with the first publication delivered to the firm's clients, Mr. Walczak stated, "After the U.S. and the EU, the four BRIC countries represent the epicenter of the global marketplace. In a very short 20 years, these regions will account for 50% of the G6 economies, and in less than 40 years BRIC economies could be larger than the G6 combined. Equally important, by 2040, China will likely be recognized as the world's single largest economy.
Added Mr. Walczak, From an historic perspective, this will be seen as a reflex moment for investors, as the opportunities are no different than those presented during the manufacturing revolution of the late 19th century and the technology revolution that took place during the late 20th century."
