Plein Air Magazine Announces Launch Date and Begins Selling Subscriptions

The new fine-art magazine Plein Air has announced the inaugural issue will be released May 28 for the June issue and has officially started accepting subscriptions.

(PRWEB) May 8, 2004 --After more than eighteen months of planning and preparation for the launch of Plein Air Magazine, the premiere fine-art magazine for collectors and artists, the magazine today began selling subscriptions for the first time. Up to today weve been telling people its coming soon, but today is a red letter day because we have announced our launch date and we are officially taking paid subscriptions," said, B. Eric Rhoads, Chairman of Streamline Publishing, and Inc.

The magazine, which focuses mostly on fine paintings from deceased and living master artists will publish its first issue in June and will be published monthly thereafter. The first issue features the works of artist Edgar Alwin Payne, John Baptiste Camille Corot, Ken Auster, Camille Przewodek, Frank LaLumia, Madlyne-Ann C. Woolich and Jack Cassinetto. Coming in July and August the publication will do features on Richard Schmid, Kevin Macpherson, John Frost, Claude Lorrain, Winslow Homer, Martin Johnson Heade, Gay Faukenberry, Peter Adams, Mark Lague and others.
