Movie option sale for Vegas mob-related book

Barricade Books sells movie option for Murder of a Mafia Daughter.

(PRWEB) May 8, 2004 --MURDER OF A MAFIA DAUGHTER: The Life and Tragic Death of Susan Berman by Las Vegas-based crime reporter and author Cathy Scott (Barricade Books, Hardcover, 2002), has been optioned for film development by Mark Steenland of TKO Productions. Scott is also the author of the Los Angeles Times' bestseller The Killing of Tupac Shakur.

Berman was the daughter of Davie Berman, co-owner of the Flamingo Hotel with Bugsy Siegel in the 1940s. Murder of a Mafia Daughter chronicles Berman's life, beginning when she was a child growing up as Mafia royalty in Las Vegas, to her murder in the winter of 2000 in her Beverly Hills home.
