(PRWEB) May 11, 2004 -- With the highest link budget in its class the XEMICS TrueRF narrowband transceiver, the XE1205 has a superior range with no external LNA or PA. Compared to a similar product, the link budget is 13dB better.

The XE1205 RF transceiver fully meets the requirements for 25 kHz channel spacing and adjacent channel power of less than -37dBm and is ideal for applications operating in the 433-868-915MHz band such as alarms, security, automatic metering, services and controls, as well as remote keyless entry.

The XE1205 is the third new XEMICS product based on TrueRF technology. Amongst the improvements offered by TrueRF are full FCC/ETSI compliancy without a SAW filter, additional register settings offering enhanced operation modes, and unconditional stability even at 15dBm power output.

New features in the XE1205 include a 16-byte FIFO data buffer, and an enhanced AFC algorithm, both of which contribute to reduced host-controller overhead and thereby lower system cost.
