New Website Discourages Drivers From Cruising in the Passing Lane

LeftLaneDicks.com, a new site on the World Wide Web, is giving Americans an outlet for their frustration with discourteous drivers.

(PRWEB) May 9, 2004 --The site, launched just over a month ago, is quickly picking up momentum as users log on to track the vehicles that they were stuck behind in the passing lane. A database of license plates, vehicle types and incident locations is being compiled for the amusement of visitors.

Its a real stress-reliever," said Ted Stevens, one of the sites most active users, I mean, I come home after being stuck behind a mini-van that refuses to pass the truck to its right on a two lane highway and (Left Lane Dicks) allows me to vent without disturbing anyone."

LeftLaneDicks.com is a completely free service with some very unique features. For example, registered users can choose to be alerted by email if they have been spotted cruising in the passing lane. Visitors will find user-submitted stories, driving tips and even an online shop where they can purchase Left Lane Dick merchandise. For more information, including left lane driving statistics such as breakdown by state or vehicle type, visit www.leftlanedicks.com
