Word-of-Mouth Firm to Provide Services Free of Charge to Non-Profits

BzzAgent will annually provide three cause-related nonprofits and non-profit entities such as Open Source projects with the opportunity to engage the 42,000+ BzzAgent evangelist community in a 12-week Word-of-Mouth campaign, the first of which will launch early Summer '04.

BzzAgent, a Boston-based Word-of-Mouth marketing and research firm, has developed the GoodBzz Partnership which will offer Word-of-Mouth marketing services free of charge to cause-related nonprofits and non-profit entities such as Open Source projects. BzzAgent will annually provide three organizations with the opportunity to engage the BzzAgent evangelist community in a 12-week Word-of-Mouth campaign, the first of which will launch early this summer. The company will choose proven organizations based on their scope, agenda, and financial integrity. The first organization chosen will be announced on July 1, 2004.

Each 12-week campaign will include the development of a full-scale Word-of-Mouth program involving a group selected from among BzzAgent’s more than 40,000 U.S.-based brand evangelists. We will develop and provide all program participants with an official Word-of-Mouth training manual as well as individualized one-to-one feedback about their Word-of-Mouth activities. At the close of the program, the nonprofit will receive a comprehensive report detailing the insights, learnings, and trends gathered from our analysis of the data and feedback collected during the program.

For the summer launch, BzzAgent will only consider submissions that are national in scope, although it may choose a regional nonprofit for a future program.
