Nation's First 18 year old City Councilman vies for American Candidate Reality T.V. Show Title

Arthur H. Jackson Jr., Elected in 1975 as the youngest Elected City Councilman in U.S. History, has applied for The Showtime Reality T.V. Show, The American Candidate.

(PRWEB) May 11, 2004 --Arthur H. Jackson is running for President, as The American Candidate, Jackson has applied for one of twelve positions on Showtime T.V.'s new reality show primeiring in August 2004, called The American Candidate. Jackson a veteran of more than thirty years in politics, has worked with more than 1,000 Candidates and Elected Officials and rcently served as an Elected Member of the D.C. Democratic State Committee.

Jackson, also serves as President of his own consulting firm, The AHJ Group, and is a part time actor, he has appeared in several major films including "The People vs. Larry Flyntt",and "The Pelican Brief".

If selected for The American Candidate, he will compete against eleven other candidates. Jackson is listed on showtime's American Candidate website. The former Maryland Councilman says

"If selected I will use entertainment,facts and lively debate to excite the Showtime viewers. hopefully the Candidates for President, will also listen to the participants. I have already recommended to the producers a debate between The American Candidate and the two major party candidates."
