Innovative Lap Timing System for Race Cars / Bikes Announced

The new FASCAR-100 from OSW Ltd takes lap timers to an exciting new level with its hi-vision progress indicator. Besides performing the complete array of lap timer functions such as current lap time, last lap time and speed display, the FASCAR adds to its standard data logging and PC upload capabilities by offering a user-configurable and dynamic “Pace Light”.

This bright idea gives the driver (or rider - it’ll fit on most motorcycles too) peripheral vision feedback all round the circuit on how the current lap is faring against a previously stored best lap. A 3-colour ultra-bright LED shows green, amber or red to encourage the driver to smile, try harder or back off until the next lap!

The unit has the advantage of being easily fitted and removed from the vehicle, making it ideal for drivers of multiple cars or indeed for road legal occasional track users. A range of modular fitting accessories is supplied with the basic unit, or are available as separate components.
