First of its Kind Partnership Provides Parents Instant Access to Safe Educational Programs for Children and Opens Doors for Emerging Companies

Childrens Educational Network and StudyDog announced a Letter of Intent to form a unique and far reaching program content and distribution agreement that would benefit families who want a rich educational, but safe, computing environment for their children.

(PRWEB) May 12, 2004 --- A young company has developed an innovative and superior Reading solution for children that parents and educators rave about, but, with a modest marketing budget, is having difficulty getting the word out. Major retailers are anxious to remind their customers that they care about them and millions of parents want an educationally content-rich, but safe, environment for their children. Are these problems unsolvable and separate? The Childrens Educational Network doesnt think so. They have acquired rights to the MindWalker technology along with various marketing and distribution agreements. The MindWalker technology is a parent-controlled suite of Internet applications that include: Child Safe Web browsers, "talking" email, "talking" chat and, in the near future, "talking" instant messaging in addition to other new features. The product suite enables a child to access only the best, kid-safe and educational websites that are provided as an initial "include list", which can be edited by parents or guardians. In addition to promoting and distributing its own proprietary brands, Childrens Educational Network establishes strategic relationships with well-known brands, creating branded "browser skins/themes" that appeal to children while satisfying parental concerns associated with children using the Internet. All together, these elements form the Childrens Educational Network and will connect educational content providers, like StudyDog, with millions of parents and children.

StudyDog agrees with The Childrens Educational Network. I think that anytime we can be exposed to 50 million households where our product can speak for itself is tremendous", said Deme Clainos, President and CEO of StudyDog. The Childrens Educational Network can make that happen thru its innovative technology and marketing strategy to partner with leading retailers".

"Absolutely essential for our success is for a parent to have an outstanding experience while on our network and thats why were delighted to partner with StudyDog", said Greg Writer CEO and Founder of The Childrens Educational Network. Our research turned up the StudyDog Reading System and we thought it was in a class by itself". StudyDog delivers essential reading instruction through an innovative online system that is personalized for the child and guided by a Reading Specialist. Fifteen minute online lessons three to five times per week teach key reading skills identified by the National Reading Panel and other reading experts. Students enjoy the program because of its engaging design and format, and the prizes awarded to the students as they progress. Through an initial reading assessment, StudyDog builds a customized curriculum for each student to address his/her specific challenges. Teachers and parents receive online reports of the childs progress.
