THUGS and BAD BOYS: Why do Women Want Them?

The criticly acclaimed new fiction book Thugs are for Fun by J.Gail is officially being released today by Jazoli Publishing (http://www.jazolipublishing.com).

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) May 12, 2004 --- Girl meets Thug. Thug falls for Girl. Now let the drama begin.

For most women who have dated thugs in the past, theyve found that these havent been the most... permanent relationships. Its a hot issue in the community: so why then do females choose the bad boys? Well, the new author J.Gail takes this issue head on with a very simple answer: because they just want to have fun. And it will happen until the end of time.

The new writer, J.Gail, presents an entertaining book that goes through the trials of a young black woman in her early twenties named Jacilyn Thomas, who goes through continued relationship drama. She dates different types of men, but the majority tend to be thugs who she sees no real future with, thus the title of the book, Thugs are for Fun. The story is set in 2003, Philadelphia, PA, where Jacy is getting to know a man named Rich Wilkins, who could only be described as a street thug. The situations these two experience in the book will keep you on the edge of your seat.

"I feel very close to THUGS, because the story is one that I can relate to in my own life. I've dated thugs myself, so I can identify with the drama but also with the excitement of my book," says J.Gail, a Philadelphia area resident and college graduate.

So why then do women date thugs, despite all of the negatives?

"Because they want to do exactly the opposite of what theyve been taught as little girls." the bright young author affirms. "And they dont like to be bored with the men they date."

THUGS ARE FOR FUN is partly an account of the relationship between the suburban raised Jacy and the street cultivated Rich, and partly a tale of the general dramas that plague the life of a young black woman who is trying to make some semblance of a life for herself in the new millenium.
