(PRWEB) May 13, 2004
Cleveland, Ohio  May 13, 2004  Webcast Group, Incorporated (WGI), an ASP of B2B interactive webcast services has announced the release Webcast Control Center V.3. This release adds multiple new features and enhancements including remote encoder control for webcasts using synchronized slide shows.
The Webcast Control Center is aimed at production crews producing and managing live webcasts that include synchronized slide shows and audience moderated Q&A. The company claims this is the most advanced control center available for the production of professional quality, interactive broadcasts over the Internet.
Webcast Control Center V.3 includes:
LaunchCode  exclusive patent pending feature that makes webcast launch from client web site instead of third party landing page
Custom branding  webcasts are built from over 40 templates to completely match the look and feel of the client web site
Poll Builder  multiple choice poll slides are quickly and easily created
Registration System Builder  builds custom registration forms to gather data from viewers prior to their entering the webcast
Online viewer statistics  graphical reports showing daily and monthly viewing usage of webcasts
Production team communication guide  all members of production team may easily communicate during live webcasts regardless of their location
Remote encoder control  allows presenter to control slides and Q&A from location remote from encoder, ideal for satellite signal acquisition
Moderated Q&A  database driven audience question and answer system keeps webcasts Q&A Âon topicÂ
Company spokesperson, Mike Rozack describes a typical scenario where the event is in one city and the camera signal is being sent to another city via satellite and encoded in a remote production facility. He states this system allows presenters in the event city to control the slide show being transmitted by the encoder located in the production facility at the remote city. During the entire event, both on site and remote crews can communicate via the Webcast Control Center production guide communication system.
The company states the new Webcast Control Center can control webcasts going over any content delivery network or private network. Other key features are the ability to brand the webcast to match the client web site and to enable the webcast to launch right from the client web site. This is substantially different from the normal practice of other webcast providers who require their clients to a third party landing pages, a feature upon which Webcast Group claims to have a patent pending on this breakthrough technology.
The Webcast Control center is accessible to Webcast Group resellers and clients and is included with every live webcast event purchased through the Webcast Group.
