National Football League Players Association teams up with Celebrity Personal Assistants, Inc. to provide Concierge Services to NFL Players

The NFL Players Association has signed an agreement that will provide their members with access to a professional concierge service, further enhancing the range of value-added benefits offered by this union to active and retired NFL player members.

WASHINGTON, DC; ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) May 14, 2004 -- The NFL Players Association has signed an agreement that will provide their members with access to a professional concierge service, further enhancing the range of value-added benefits offered by this union to active and retired NFL player members.

Through Orchestrate, the concierge division of Atlanta-based Celebrity Personal Assistants, Inc., all active and retired union-members will have a personal concierge available to assist with everything from locating goods and services, making dinner reservations, reserving tickets for entertainment events, transporting cars across the country, event planning, ordering flowers and more complex requests such as one members recent request of chartering a private yacht for his forthcoming Mediterranean honeymoon. The members do not pay any costs for the service aside from the actual cost of any items or services that they locate. NFLPA members can access the service 24 hours a day, as requests can be made via a toll-free number, voice mail, email or through an electronic request on the unions website.

According to Gene Upshaw, Executive Director of the NFLPA, the alliance was created to further advance our membership programs by providing the players and their families with a one-stop-shop solution for life convenience including 24-hour access, 7 days a week to assist with the high demands placed on the professional athlete."

This is a members only club, that brings NFLPA members a level of luxury lifestyle management that is the ideal complement to existing membership services currently offered by the union," said CPAI President/CEO, Dionne Muhammad.

Our concierge and personal assistant services will cater to the eclectic mix of preferences and cultures of NFL players. Professional athletes want the best service wherever they might be in the world. We take the hassle away by handling a comprehensive array of their business and personal assistance needs including, but not limited to, facilitation of purchases, making recommendations and reservations as well as customized gift services and personal shopping," she said.

In addition, CPAI will provide general information and research services, business services and special product/program access. Members will also receive weekly electronic newsletters informing them of worldwide events and special offers exclusive to the club.

The program is supported by CPAI's relationship with vendors. Vendors pay a marketing fee to belong to the program. "They view the marketing fee as similar to advertising in a magazine or paying for a listing in the yellow pages. However, we bring a much more focused and willing customer to them," Muhammad said.
