Huntington YMCA Carnival Gets Rolling Memorial Day Weekend

Rides, Games, Shows and a Chance to Raise Scholarship Monies

Huntington, NY (PRWEB) May 16, 2004 --This Memorial Day weekend, the Huntington YMCA will again light up the village with its annual YMCA Memorial Day Carnival, Wednesday through Monday, May 26-31, at the YMCA, 60 Main Street, Huntington Village. The whole family can enjoy the festivities, featuring an array of rides, a midway full of games, refreshments and musical entertainment. The Carnival is also an annual fund-raiser to support the Ys Scholarship program for community members in need of the Ys financial assistance program.
   
Come join the fun," said Ed Moffett, Executive Director Huntington YMCA, and help benefit our Scholarship Program as well. This year there will be a climbing wall, rides for all ages, including the exciting Zipper and Faros Fury. Whats more there will be a host of bands and performers entertaining, wonderful contests and games, and, for a treat, while you catch your breath, a 'food-of-all nations court to enjoy."
   
Times and dates of the Carnival are: Wednesday and Thursday, May 26-27, 6 to 11 p.m.; Friday, May 28, 6 to 11:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30, 1 to 11:30 p.m.; and Monday, May 31, 1 to 8 p.m. General admission, including all rides and shows, is $9.00; seniors, $3.00; and less than 24 months, free.
