Tricky Dilemma to Play a double-bill with Fieldwork (feat. Vijay Iyer) at Tonic May 25.
Two groups-Tricky Dilemma and Fieldwork. Each band led by the 2 primary keyboardists of Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, will share the stage at Tonic in NYC on Tuesday, May 25th starting at 8pm.
(PRWEB) May 17, 2004 -- After last month's successful performance at The Lion's Den, Tricky Dilemma will share a double bill with Fieldwork (featuring pianist Vijay Iyer) at Tonic, Tuesday, May 25, 8:00pm. As can be expected, Tricky Dilemma will serve a dish of its' mood-enhancing - "Sun Ra-ish" brand of improvised acoustic-electronica music. Featured will be guitarist-Marvin Sewell, DJ/Afro-electronica experimentalist-Val-Inc and multi-instrumentalist-Bruce Mack. Iyer and Mack are both also keyboardists in Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber.
Also taking place on May 25th, will be the release and debut of Tricky Dilemma's website - www.trickydilemma.com along with the debut of Bruce Mack's site - www.brucemack.com. Both websites are beautifully designed by Amy Gail. Those familiar with Mack know these sites will feature links to an amazing network and legion of musicians and organizations who have established many of their allegiances through work with the Black Rock Coalition (of who Bruce Mack is former president).
